Abbott Cooper focuses on advising investors, boards of directors and companies on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, corporate governance and shareholder activism. Mr. Cooper has extensive experience with negotiated and unsolicited takeovers and proxy contests and is well versed in the corporate, securities and regulatory aspects of those matters. As a former investment banker and the current manager of an investment partnership, Mr. Cooper has unique insights into the financial, strategic and tactical dynamics of M&A and shareholder activism. While Mr. Cooper is best known for his work with banking organizations, he has been involved with transactions across a range of industries.
